Movie: A Separation (2011)

Review: What if I told you that a movie from Iran was one of the best movies of the year? Would you call me insane? Because that’s what I’m saying. This movie was perfect. It’s one of the most realistic, heartfelt, painfully human movies I’ve ever seen. You forget that the characters aren’t speaking English and just get completely caught up in the story. You feel for these characters and it’s hard to watch them go through such a trying time period.
Definitely one of my favorite movies ever. Really should be up for Best Picture.
