365 Day Movie Challenge: February 29, 2012

Movie: Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme (2007)

Directors: Patrick Archibald, Jay Oliva, Dick Sebast, and Frank Paur

Starring: Bryce Johnson, Paul Nakauchi, Kevin Michael Richardson, Michael Yama, Susan Spano, Jonathan Adams, and Tara Strong

Plot: After a surgeon is in a serious car accident, he joins a mystical cult who promises to repair his badly damaged hands.

Review: As a Marvel Zombie, I liked it a lot. The animation wasn’t the best. The voice acting was down right terrible at times. And, the story reached several points of extreme cheesiness. But, there was also a lot of moments of badassery and a really awesome core story. For the most part, this movie gives the awesome character of Dr. Stephen Strange justice and I can only hope that the live action movie they’re planning does the same.

Just with better acting… and awesome special effects. Depp as Strange maybe? ;)
