Review: Atlas Shrugged? Well, Dylan Snored.
This movie is the definition of dullsville. First of all, I’ve never seen a Part I that felt so much like a Part I. It was pretty much all exposition with little to no payoff. The writer tries his hardest to keep the plot exactly the same as the book, but forgets to make it work as a movie. Only somebody great like Aaron Sorkin could’ve pulled something like this off. Plus, there’s not a single decent actor in the whole freakin’ film. Seriously. With that small of a budget, the best they could pull off is one or two “that guys” in supporting roles. It’s just sad. And, now I hear that the whole cast has been replaced for Part II? Good god. Are you even trying? Because it sure doesn’t look like you are from here? One of the absolute worst movies I’ve ever seen. Just a snorefest from beginning to end. I may not agree with Ayn Rand, but I’m pretty sure that she deserves better.
